Kaiteri Lodge

The location was great, and the bar and restaurant next door were perfect. I couldn’t comment on the staff because none were around when we arrived or left. The room was adequate, the bed comfortable, but it had a strong damp smell that was really unpleasant.

“We are 3 people in our late seventies & had a one night stay so the lodge suited our purposes.”

The property was clean and quiet, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. The restaurant next door was very convenient, with generous, good‑quality meals. Nothing negative – it’s a hostel as expected, and we had an ensuited room so we didn’t need the shared facilities across the corridor, which looked plentiful and very clean.

“Good budget accommodation.”

It’s close to shops and cafés, with a great bar/pub, and the staff let us check out late. The room was very cold.

The facilities were nice and clean, offering good value; the room was well sealed and the shared kitchens were very clean and well maintained. The only downside was a slightly loud hallway next to a hold door, but otherwise it’s great.
