The establishment was magnificent in a sumptuous setting, with a view of the lake and mountains. The dining was perfect and stylish, though the heating struggled to start, so we had to ask reception to fix it; after that it was okay but not very warm.

The location is beautiful and the atmosphere relaxed. The property has character and a warm interior. The rooms and bathroom are large. Breakfast is excellent with friendly staff.

The view was amazing! The lodge is historic, as are the furnishings, but the scenery made it all worthwhile. The room was too warm, so we had to sleep with the windows open, which caused the door to rattle.
