“Cute and good value”
Seoul is tough to find affordable lodging in, so this place is a solid pick if you want a separate bedroom and living area with a touch of design. The beds were super comfy with high‑quality sheets, the kitchen area was lovely, the AC worked well, and my son loved the projector. The subway is a 10‑m walk and a good line for getting around, and the palace’s historic area is a 20‑m walk away. The owner was very responsive. The holiday rental is a heritage building, so there are a few drawbacks: no storage space for bags in the bedroom, so they must be kept downstairs; the bathroom is tiny with a very low ceiling that would hit a 170‑cm person; the neighborhood is a bit rough with many hostels but feels safe; and a more comfortable seating area downstairs would help.
