Conveniently located in the village centre. A fully cooked breakfast would have been nice to offer, rather than just bacon and eggs, but otherwise, all good.

“Would stay again.”

We stayed 3 nights here. Had a great time. David and Lorraine were lovely hosts. Beds good, room clean, breakfast fantastic. Nice meals available. A great base to explore the Moray Coast from. Rooms are upstairs so would not recommend for people with mobility issues or who would struggle with taking bags up/down stairs. Would liked to have stayed longer but our journey continues

A fabulous location to admire the famous Bow Fiddle Rock. The hotel is very nice, offers a restaurant service and a very welcoming pub. Dinner was very good and the atmosphere friendly. Breakfast with eggs and bacon is served from 8 AM but was kindly served 15 minutes early. Continental breakfast can also be had before 8. The room was large and the double bed spacious. Overall definitely recommended to stay there. The only downside: perhaps the bathroom sink is a bit small and awkward with few places to put personal items.

“Krótki, przyjemny przystanek w spokojnym nadmorskim Portknockie.”

We spent one night at Victoria Hotel while touring Scotland. It was a short but pleasant stop in the small seaside town of Portknockie. The hotel has a local, unpretentious vibe that fits the town’s atmosphere. We treated the stay mainly as a layover, and in that respect the property met our expectations.

“En helt perfekt semester.”

The owners are wonderful, the service is fantastic, the food is good, the staff are friendly, and the surroundings are beautiful. I felt at home and want to return soon.
