“Beautiful view, nice staff, but very dirty”
The view was perfect, the staff were very nice, and the food was pretty good, but the place was unfortunately very dirty when we arrived—dark brown/red stains on almost every surface, especially the curtains. The manager was kind and helped us out by cleaning the bathroom and cabinets, although the curtains couldn’t be changed or washed in time. Bedsheets were changed on request because of stains and random hairs, which was still necessary. The glass on the bathroom door was shattered. Finally, even though the food was good, it wasn’t clear that the evening buffet cost 600 ruppees per person, which resulted in a surprise bill of 3000 ruppees for five people. This should be stated more clearly. Only because of the nice staff and amazing view do I give it a 7/10, but overall it was disappointing since we had been looking forward to staying here. Do better.
