The hotel’s spot was great for exploring Rome during the last two nights of our two‑week Italy trip. Compared to other Italian hotels, the street was unusually quiet, the beds were super comfy, the AC worked flawlessly, and the rooms were clean. However, the property itself feels very dated—reviews are spot on. For over $300 a night I’d expect better. The stair carpets were filthy, the place needs fresh paint, the main hallways looked like cats had scratched the walls, and overall it needs a major cosmetic overhaul. There were homeless people on the street and teens hanging out until late in front of our room.
