“Never again”
Nothing positive. The staff were rude, the room was dirty, the microwave was broken, and it was freezing cold.
I was greeted by friendly staff and found the rooms spotlessly clean, plus the location is right next to the freeway.
“Good value for price”
The front desk staff were very welcoming, and my room was impeccably clean with vinyl flooring instead of carpet, which I appreciated; everything worked fine even though the room had a slightly worn look around the edges, matching the price, which was about half of other nearby hotels. Coffee, juice, and water were available in the lobby 24/7, and each floor had recycle bins. The hotel’s proximity to dining, hiking, and the airport added to its convenience. However, the place felt a bit worn: baseboard tiles were missing, the tub had some stains, and one towel was rust‑stained. Breakfast was very basic—just waffles, which was fine for me. The back doors were unlocked, though they could be seen from the front desk. I ended up taking my water bottles to the Grand Junction Visitor Center to refill them because there wasn’t a deep sink or fountain, and the lobby water was only in a glass jar.
