“Right on The Border.”
We spent two nights at Logis Ur‑Hegian, and as a B&B it’s superb: plenty of parking, easy access, a warm welcome, a lift (crucial for an 80‑year‑old), a tidy, comfy room with a lovely terrace view, and discreet yet effective air‑conditioning—essential in the summer of ’26. Breakfast was excellent, the modern Continental leaning German‑style with eggs and bacon. The B&B itself is lovely, just a short walk to the Spanish‑French border, shops, supermarket, petrol station in Spain, and the Gendamerie and Duaniers use the area for training stop‑and‑search on Spanish white vans.
