The staff are responsive and pleasant to talk to. In the mornings they brew fresh coffee and offer it to guests. You can grab powdered coffee, napkins, and paper at reception – very convenient. The view from the room overlooking the city and sea is delightful, but the climb to the hotel is exhausting – even for fit people, returning after walks and dinners in the heat feels tiring. The room is quite tight, though cozy, and the bathroom is too small for two people to fit. I bumped my forehead on the ceiling in the shower a couple of times. To use the microwave you have to move the fridge and cabinet, unplug the fridge, and plug in the microwave. We didn’t use it, but it raised questions. The bed will be comfortable for those who like soft mattresses. A negative impression was left by guests in a neighboring room who played music loudly on the balcony until late night, preventing me from sleeping.

“Pratique mais pas de charme”

The welcome was friendly. The view, the large rooms, and the terrace are great. There weren’t enough kitchen utensils (only 3 knives, no ladle, no colander, no vegetable peeler). It wasn’t very clean.

The apartment was spacious and close to the center. The reception was hasty – no water glass, no guidance on the apartment or hotel operations. The kitchen’s cleanliness was poor: the toaster was sticky, the countertop and the rack were the same, and the dish‑drain support was moldy and full of crumbs. The apartment felt cold – no frames on the walls. I found it uncomfortable having to request items (small spoons, hangers, a dishcloth, a sink loop, a broom, a dustpan…) but the staff answered each request. I also pointed out loose baseboards, a detached closet piece, missing clotheslines, and they were repaired.

The staff were attentive and friendly, and the location is great. However, the sofa‑bed is very uncomfortable, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you need to stay more than one night. There were also some maintenance issues: water leaked in the shower and the soap dispenser didn’t work.

I stayed at this lovely pension where the hosts were incredibly responsive and handled every issue quickly; the rooms were spotless and fully equipped, matching the photos exactly. It sits on a hill, so you’ll have to climb up if you’re on foot—this is a concern for retirees or people with mobility issues—but taxis are always available. If we ever visit Kash, we’ll definitely come back.
