The hotel’s classic decor is fantastic, and the check‑in desk staff were extremely friendly. Its location is great, and they were very accommodating for a night owl.

The architecture and hallways were amazing—you could even play cricket in them. The stairs up to the bedroom were very narrow and slippery.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the hotel is within walking distance to the station, which the kids loved. No negatives.

The old building’s architecture has been preserved and turned into comfortable apartments along the very long grand corridors. The parterre gardens, BBQ area, pool, spa, and gym are all very good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
