I was handed earplugs by the staff to deal with the noise, but we were positioned at the end of the corridor, so the kitchen extractor fan was audible late into the night and from early morning onward.

The room is spacious, the surroundings are beautiful and very quiet, but at night the long Telefoonweg is a bit of a challenge in the dark. The hotel sits peacefully in the woods, yet that means you drive alone through an uninhabited area after dark.

The location was close to the Kroller Muller museum, which was exactly what we wanted; the rooms were clean and comfortable, there was parking, and the resort sat in a park. However, the food at the local restaurant was poor, and in our case one day was barely tolerable. Be aware of the roadworks nearby; Google Maps gets confused and you can wander in circles, especially at night, which is unpleasant.

“Hotel in het bos. Rust.”

The room was spacious and nice, the pool and sauna were good, and the breakfast was comprehensive. The pool water felt a bit cold, and while the bathroom and toilet were fine, they looked somewhat dated.
