The site itself is outstanding. Service is generally slow and hot water was missing except once.

We had an amazing stay in this palace, worthy of Jasmine and Aladdin; the staff treated us like royalty and even upgraded us—thank you! We felt right at home; the place is exceptional and the room is huge. I recommend it 100%.

“Dommage !”

Palais Mehdi has everything for a wonderful stay: a beautiful setting in the palm grove, large comfortable rooms, a nice terrace and a handy mini‑fridge. We live in Marrakech and stayed there after a technical issue at our riad. Unfortunately, an incident with the front‑desk staff ruined the experience. Around 20:30–21:00, while we were having a drink on the terrace, a staff member came to ask us to complete departure formalities if we intended to leave before 9 am. She then returned to demand 100 dirhams in tourist tax, which we paid without receiving a receipt or invoice. The next day, at check‑out, the front desk again asked for this tax, this time stating 26 dirhams per person, or 52 dirhams for the two of us. After explaining that we had already paid the previous day, we were not asked to pay again. Why was 100 dirhams demanded without justification the day before, when the tax was announced as 52 dirhams the next day? This lack of transparency is unacceptable. Another disappointment: the pool is not heated. The day pass at 650 dirhams per person, which includes pool access and lunch, seems overpriced compared to sector offers and the quality of the food. In short, these contradictory, unjustified money requests left us feeling like we were being taken advantage of. Having to discuss this at check‑out to avoid double payment is unacceptable. A pleasant setting deserves transparent, respectful service. Truly regrettable.

“Super nice!”

Great staff, the owner was always around and he came around asking how things were everyday when he saw us! it was super nice!. The amount of wasps everyday at the pool for breakfast made it very annoying to be able to enjoy breakfast everyday! in addition to this, there were some issues with the shower being clogged - which was not fully resolved by the end of our 5 days trip
