I stayed in a tiny Japanese room with barely enough room for my suitcase, but the location was great and the staff were helpful, even lending us a charging cable. The room had a faint musty smell and the air conditioner was unfortunately aimed at the bed, which made the space feel even smaller.

The place was stylish, with a raised floor, simple décor, and free coffee until 20:00 (you bring the pot from below). There was a water server, croissants and two other breads for breakfast, a double bed that was a good deal for two nights, a Lawson right in front, excellent hot water drainage, a smart TV, strong Wi‑Fi, and the staff were polite and efficient without saying unnecessary things. On the downside, the cups were small, the smoking area was on a different floor (the room itself was fine but there was an odd smell that bothered my kids), there was no coin laundry, the outside was noisy, there was no mirror, the shower water was hot, the sink drain was long, the windows were opaque so you couldn’t see outside, and the whole room felt a bit damp.

I enjoyed the breakfast croissant and coffee, but the room was so small and cramped that I couldn’t open my suitcase.
