I liked the optimal location, the stylish and unique hall, the tables on the balconies on Via Etnea, and the staff were very friendly and super helpful. The room was fine, the shared bathroom was a bit less impressive but still acceptable… I think the small issue was due to the bathroom’s placement or something fleeting.

“Sporco e poco curato”

The location is right in the center, and the terrace overlooking the piazza offered a spectacular view. However, I’ve stayed in many hostels and this one had poor cleanliness; the shared bathroom had a terrible odor, the doors barely closed, so there was zero privacy. My room’s door didn’t open well and made a scary noise, the bunk bed was very unstable and held together with tape! The reception girls were always grumpy and struggled to speak Italian. They gave very little information and seemed annoyed by me. It’s a shame because the place deserves better management.

The room and bathroom were always clean, and the number of bathrooms matched the number of guests. The place’s aesthetic is very nice, resembling a modern museum turned into accommodation. The value for money is great, especially since it’s in the center of Catania, convenient for short stays when you don’t have much time to explore the city. The terrace is worth seeing too, and it’s accessible even outside the bar’s opening hours. The breakfast could be improved, perhaps with a slight price increase; I think there’s room for that.

The staff were very friendly and the location is truly great. Breakfast was also very good, and the roof terrace is a highlight. The mixed four‑bedroom room had an unpleasant smell, and the mattress was heavily sagging.
