An extremely positive experience. The residence sits in a medieval‑origin building, lovingly renovated with infinite care, with a detail orientation that borders on obsessive. Guided by the owner, Carlo, a delightful person who gives the place its beauty, I was led through old furniture, photographs, furnishings, and original floors (from 1400 clay to 1800 tiles) in a nearly vanished world that made me dream. The room was beautiful, complete with a hidden little window! For me, that’s real luxury! Impeccable cleanliness and plastic‑free. Thank you, Carlo, I can’t wait to return to Pico. Carlos welcomed us with exceptional hospitality in a unique, original, authentic, and fun hotel that features a gourmet kitchen downstairs where Chef Simone delivered a fantastic dinner and breakfast; we also enjoyed meeting the other guests, and the historic, quaint, and peaceful town offered a great escape, though we wished we could have stayed longer.

“For a night good but we were in low season”

The place was very clean and Carlos, the owner, was very helpful, but it felt very isolated and the hot water was not brilliant.

The property consists of a spread-out hotel set in perfectly renovated 1400s buildings; you cannot drive in, so you must leave your car about fifty meters from the entrance; however, Pico lacks mobile coverage, and to get a signal you must hunt for the few spots where distant repeaters reach—practically impossible to browse; the main building offers Wi‑Fi, but the room I stayed in did not include that service, which is the only flaw of the property.
