We were given a very spacious room, larger than typical Japanese hotels, so we could unpack our suitcases without any trouble. The toilet and shower were nice, and the room had a microwave, fridge/freezer, free toiletries, and slippers. The staff didn’t speak much English but were kind, and thanks to translator apps we had no issues. We could leave our luggage in the room while they finished cleaning before check‑in, and after check‑out they let us keep our bags at reception for the rest of the day since we were heading to the airport in the evening, so we didn’t have to lug them around or find another storage spot—very convenient. The subway line nearby takes you straight to Haneda Airport, which was a big plus. The hotel has a very narrow, steep staircase, which wasn’t ideal for us at the end of our trip with heavy suitcases, though we knew about it beforehand. They offered to help carry the luggage up if you ask, which we did, but when we arrived there was only a girl who couldn’t really assist us. The windows might be a bit thin, as we could hear all the outside noise. The staff weren’t at reception all the time, which worried me a little when we left our suitcase next to the desk, but everything turned out fine.

The price was cheap. There was a faint smell in the room—nothing unbearable, but it was noticeable.

The location isn’t far from the subway station. The entrance was hard to find, and there were no stairs—climbing a steep set to the fourth floor was tough. As other reviews mentioned, I couldn’t use the TV because I didn’t know where the switch was; I called the front desk from the first floor and they turned it on, but the switch’s position should be indicated.
