I was impressed by the clean rooms and the comfortable bed, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. The only downside was that the TV didn’t offer BBC1 or ITV, though we eventually managed to catch Sky News. We were out from 8am to 6pm, so breakfast was a bit of a disappointment; we would have preferred cereal, even though the downstairs kitchen was available and coffee and tea were on hand.

“Lovely stay, would definitely book again”

The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable, making it worth the price. Parking on the street was a hassle after 9pm, but otherwise there were no issues.

Clean and functional. Also nice, quiet, and secure. Nothing really wrong with the property

“Utile”

The room was clean, the interior layout was well done, and the tasteful little details made the stay pleasant; the kitchen was very well arranged but not as well maintained, and communication with the host, Mr Justin, was solid. However, the vague description of the room made me think, based on the photos, that it opened onto a terrace, and the other occupants were disrespectful and unfriendly.

The kitchen downstairs was clean and well‑organised, with a nice space to sit inside and also outside. The door locks and mechanisms were a bit difficult to use, especially with a hand injury, and the room was quite warm, requiring the windows to be open all night even though it wasn’t a heatwave; thankfully there were no bug problems.
