Right in the town centre, the host had a parking spot right in front of us and moved us to the lower floor because of the stairs, which was very kind. He also handed us breakfast coupons for a nearby bar each morning, since there was no coffee maker or kitchen, and provided a small fridge to keep drinks cold. Only one air‑conditioner served both rooms; it cooled them well, but we had to keep the bathroom doors open, which wasn’t a major issue.

The town felt authentic, the castle was gorgeous, and the countryside views were amazing; we had a terrace to relax on in the evenings and received breakfast vouchers for a nearby bar, while Pietro helped us with everything. The drive up the mountain was a hassle, finding parking was tough, the bed was a bit soft, and the dining options were limited.
