The house is for couples, but the four rooms are awful, the floor is thick, the single bed sits on a base, the floor and bathroom are horrible.

The place is in a great spot, easy to reach the city’s main sights, has solid physical structure and a setting that could be very cozy and pleasant, and the staff are attentive. The room I stayed in on the upper floor had a 32" TV, which is a plus compared to other rooms. The lodge is old and needs maintenance and renovation; the photos on Booking do not match reality. Some rooms still have 14" tube TVs, which are outdated. The room lighting is terribly poor and insufficient: there were only two yellow lamp‑shaped lamps over the bed, and at times I had to use my phone’s flashlight to light up. The pool was dirty and not usable, and the area around it was in terrible condition with accumulated debris.
