The breakfast buffet was well stocked; Momma made wonderful homemade breads and cakes that were delicious. One of the ladies brewed excellent coffee drinks on request, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. We were aware of a restaurant but didn’t realize reservations were required. The hotel sits between the old city of Assisi and the newer city center near the train station, where there isn’t much nearby. We managed to catch a taxi for pizza and wish we could have eaten at the back restaurant, which apparently is incredible.

The staff were very eager and kind, and the breakfasts were excellent, especially the homemade pastries. Parking was comfortable right next to the hotel. The hotel is near Františka, a bit uphill, but that’s part of the pilgrimage, so you have to go up the hill.
