The view through the tree tops straight to the sea is beautiful, and the staff are really sweet and good at making you feel comfortable. There are many stairs, but the staff handle your baggage.

The people on Koh Jum and at the resort were very friendly, and the setting is in a very natural, undeveloped area. The resort was just starting its season – we were the very first guests – so many of the usual amenities weren’t fully operational. The restaurant had just opened and offered very limited options because they had minimal supplies. Parts of the resort were still under renovation or construction. It could work for those who only need the basics and love nature (like in campground cabins), but in its current state it’s a bit pricey for what you get, and it made it hard to stay long with kids.

Jungle Hill is one of the most beautiful spots in Thailand! Some bungalows are built right on the steep slope to the beach, hidden among trees. The restaurant sits at the center of the property with a fantastic sea view. The food is wonderful and exceptionally tasty, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. After a relaxed day at the beach or a scooter trip around the small island, you can enjoy the sunset high above the beach in the restaurant with a beer. During the rainy season the island is especially quiet, making it ideal for those seeking peace and relaxation. Naturally, this idyll comes at a price! But you don’t have to pay it in euros or baht 🤣! The cost is the endless stairs you have to climb when you want to go down to the beach, back to your bungalow, or down to the road… You should bring a bit of mobility! The place is not suitable for people with severe mobility restrictions, as it is definitely the opposite of barrier‑free.

It seems to be superbly located and has incredible potential, but on the downside the beach at the property was dirty. I know it’s low season, but they could take care of the plastic bottles that are there. It gives a very bad impression.

The location is dreamy, but the place isn’t well maintained and is really expensive, even though the location is incredibly beautiful.
