The hotel is perfectly positioned close to the sea, just a 5‑minute walk to the beach, and also very near the train station. The rooftop terrace is undeniably gorgeous. What bothered us was the lack of visible staff; we could only check in thanks to a girl from a nearby shop, and if her shop had been closed we’d have been lost because there was no other contact. The sofa in our room was terribly squeaky. There were no drying facilities in the bathroom, and with the summer humidity nothing dried. The dryer that was present hung directly above the toilet and its use was unclear; there was no hook to hang towels, so wet, un‑dried clothes had nowhere to go. Thankfully we stayed only two nights; I can’t imagine spending a week on the coast with no way to wash or dry clothes.
