The place is very practical to get to and close to everything in downtown Sacramento, and the rooms are comfy, clean, and well equipped, but the building’s exterior is awful and completely neglected, which takes away a lot of value; at night you can see homeless people urinating or sleeping on the stairwells that lead to the upper floors, and it’s hard to understand why the vehicle entrance garage and the external stairwells aren’t locked, since it seems the hotel’s business is more about parking than lodging.

The rooms themselves are clean, but the area outside the rooms is quite dirty.

The breakfast waffle maker was amazing and the staff were friendly, but the location feels a bit shady and the building is old.

The location was great for attending the event at the SAFE Convention Center, close to many restaurants and convenience stores, and I parked my car and walked to everything I needed.
