The location was close to Sassi and the main attractions, and as a solo traveller I felt safe walking around at night. The elevator, however, was tiny and only suitable for one person and their baggage, which almost broke my claustrophobia but I managed to breathe through it.

The place was very clean! The rooms were cozy and the beds comfortable. The location was ideal for visiting the sassi of Matera without moving the car, just a 5‑minute walk to the center. Mr. Giovanni was helpful and very kind.
