The welcome was very good, the room and its accessories were very spacious and clean, the old house had a lot of charm, there was on‑site parking, the breakfast was excellent, the stay was very quiet, and there were easy hiking trails, especially toward Laguardia.

This was the most charming place I’ve ever stayed. If you don’t mind being treated like a pampered god and truly want a home‑like spot to return to after random adventures, this is it, and Elvira is a wonderfully wonderful host. The shower needed some repair, but it was still wonderful.

The location was perfect for a total solar eclipse, sunsets over vineyards stretched in every direction were amazing, it wasn’t crowded, parking was easy, the hostess Elvira was lovely, friendly, and helpful, breakfast was wonderful with locally sourced tomatoes, honey, etc., and I enjoyed hiking around the ruins, oak grove, and vineyards and meeting other guests at breakfast. The heat wave in Spain was intense while we were there, but the room had a fan and balcony to keep it comfortable in the evenings.

The historic building was great and the hostess was very nice, but there are many steps to go up.
