The accommodation sits amid beautiful mountains. The elderly couple who own it greeted us warmly and were helpful whenever we mentioned missing items, such as cooking utensils or a dish‑washer tap, and they supplied what we needed. In the tiny house the bedroom and kitchen were surprisingly dusty and dirty; surfaces were dusty, corners and windows had cobwebs, and tablecloths and runners were dirty and stained. The kitchen equipment was lacking, but the hosts made up for it by providing pots that we returned after use. A strange odor filled the small house, reminiscent of a toilet deodorizer, and the toilet itself had an odd smell. The walls were cracked, and we had to heat the rooms with a radiant heater and oil radiators, which would have been exhausting if we had had to light the stoves ourselves.
