Hotel Silla

“Super location near central Florence.”

The hotel sits just outside Florence’s crowds but right in its center, and a pleasant walk across a nearby bridge brings you straight into the city’s heart. The staff were welcoming and helpful to us, a group of confused American tourists, even unloading our car and parking it safely in their covered garage. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and impeccably clean. We could stroll to all the main sights and enjoy a calm, safe evening walk. The restaurants nearby are great, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of tasty options with comfortable seating. The price is amazing given how close it is to central Florence.

Close to Florence’s center – a 15‑minute walk – and outside the ZTL, the hotel offers easy car access up to the doors, a parking garage, and a generous breakfast. However, renting a garage for €30 (only for small cars) forces you to hand the key to reception, where it’s left in a very visible spot that could be stolen; there’s no receipt for the key handover, which feels careless.

“We loved Hotel Silla!”

The hotel looks stunning in historic Florence, right near Ponte Vecchio. The staff were extremely helpful with travel tips and Massimo even helped us hail a taxi. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We would definitely recommend Hotel Silla – there were no negatives to mention.
