“Robbed by the property of the price for two rooms that were already reserved to someone else.”

We booked 5 rooms for one night over four months in advance, but when we arrived the staff insisted that the booking platform wasn’t working in Turkey, so they couldn’t see our payment and denied us entry. After a drawn‑out discussion we were forced into just 3 rooms, even though we had paid for 5, because the remaining rooms were earmarked for a private event. We felt cheated, losing the cost of two rooms, and the hotel refused any refund, claiming it wasn’t their responsibility.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet spot, yet close to the exhibition area we needed, making walks around the area a pleasure. Everything else was liked.

The property offers a hotel and a restaurant, which is quite nice and perhaps the best in the neighbourhood. However, the staff don’t speak any English, making simple explanations impossible. The room was very dirty, with mold everywhere, dirt in the corners, and bugs everywhere. The fridge didn’t work, the sink was clogged, and overall the hotel room condition was very bad.

We initially didn’t get our assigned room, but they eventually gave us a great one, which was excellent.

The staff were friendly, but the rooms were uncomfortable and unhygienic. Breakfast was included but served so late that we never had a chance to try it.
