The Servatur Altamar hotel is situated above Gran Canaria's Amadores Bay, offering breathtaking sea views. This property features 2 outdoor pools, lush gardens, and spacious apartments with sea views, ceiling fans, satellite TV, and safety deposit boxes. The hotel is 400 meters from Amadores Beach and near Anfi Tauro Golf Course, with free parking, a restaurant, snack bar, 24-hour reception, and free Wi-Fi.

The apartment’s comfort is truly pleasant! The real highlight (and why this is our second stay) is the food, which is really, really good! The Almadores beach is a 10‑minute downhill walk (with a nice view all the way) and a €4 taxi to go back up! The staff is always pleasant! The lack of frappé coffee (I’m a big fan) and the fact that we can’t arrive early even with an extra fee (probably not their fault) are the only downsides.

The apartment was comfortable and clean, but privacy was lacking because the terrace is open and anyone can enter; the entrance from the terrace doesn’t close.

The location is superb with breathtaking sea views, and every apartment has a terrace that lets you soak in the scenery. A free shuttle takes you to Puerto Rico and Amadores beaches, making it easy to explore outside the hotel. There’s a wide range of daytime activities for kids and adults, so it’s perfect for families. Two pools and a large hammock area are available for sunbathing. The apartments come with full kitchens and air‑conditioning, though we didn’t use the kitchen because the restaurant food was excellent, with high‑quality ingredients and great value. I especially recommend the all‑inclusive option. Overall, a highly recommended stay for enjoying the sea, relaxing, and having a great family vacation. We’ll return! The only downside is that some apartments are accessed by stairs, so if you have mobility issues, contact the hotel beforehand to request an easily accessible unit, as the building’s layout doesn’t provide uniform access.

The accommodation is very good, comfortable, and the service and staff were wonderful. However, the layout feels like a maze, and the single elevator that serves all floors is always occupied.
