Breakfast was delicious, and they asked what time I’d eat and delivered it to my door the next day for 130 RMB, about 20 USD. The host was very nice, greeting me every morning and asking if I wanted coffee or tea in the afternoon. He was very friendly and even helped me when my motorcycle broke—though it didn’t get fixed, he offered to lend me his bike. I’ll definitely choose this place again for my next trip to Penida; it’s a great homestay and the breakfast is tasty.

Every morning the breakfast was superb – banana pancakes, omelette, fruit plate and tea – and the hosts were wonderful, making tea for me daily, arranging my ferry driver and a scooter tour of the east coast; the room was lovely, the bathroom spacious, and the waves could be heard from my room – definitely wake up for sunrise! Nearby spots like Chill Penida and Catappa Warung are great, and Discover Nusa Penida offers a nice snorkelling tour that picks you up from the accommodation; overall I’d recommend this homestay.

It’s a lovely, reasonably priced place; the room lacks a fridge, but the hosts share a fridge for keeping items cold; breakfast is simple but tasty, and the hosts are kind and helpful, even assisting with scooter rental and transportation when we left; overall we had a pleasant stay and would recommend it.
