“Einfach, aber sauber”

The place was clean and the design felt a bit odd at first, but the parking was fine. Each room had a network socket and a cable ready to use. The staff felt very impersonal and there was no local point of contact; the phone number listed on the booking site was wrong. The only thing I noticed was a high railing on the stairs, too much bright light, and no smoke detector in the room. It sits right on the main street, so the rooms are noisy, and the Wi‑Fi password was left in the room. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty.

Directly reachable from the main road, yet the rooms were quiet. Simple furnishings but clean. Contact was smooth. Parking in front of the house. The landlord was very friendly during the phone call, as was the staff. We forgot something and were immediately notified!

The location was fine, but we were not satisfied with our stay. On arrival the room had a nasty, musty smell, and the sheets and towels didn't feel fresh. The kitchen only had two trash bags, and after staying two days we needed more, so I called the host for help. She couldn't offer a proper way to dispose of the trash. In the kitchen there was no towel, only a nearly empty paper‑towel roll, and the TV didn’t work – we found no channel, only radio. Checking in was also a bit tricky; we found the key but couldn’t locate the entrance at first, so we called the host again. The conversation felt somewhat unfriendly.

A practical stopover on the way. The place fit our needs perfectly – cheap and good.
