The staff and the exceptional manager were great, but my room was next to the air‑con units and I could hardly sleep because of the constant hum.

The setting is pretty picturesque, the room was clean and well equipped, and the staff were really helpful; check‑in was flexible for our situation. The breakfast was top quality and cooked to order, though parking can get a bit tight when busy, but there’s an overflow carpark nearby.

The venue we attended was great, the location was very clean, and the food was excellent. Nothing to add.

It was our second stay at this welcoming, friendly pub. The room was smaller than last time, but once we found the thermostat it was nice and warm—though a bit too hot at night! Breakfast was delicious.
