I landed in a spot that’s hard to beat and my room was spot on—compact yet thoughtfully arranged with a nice view of the port. Breakfast was solid and the dinner fare was top‑tier; the restaurant had a great vibe. They had already sorted bike hire for me before I arrived and sent my luggage on its way while I was there. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. Nothing else to add.

A lovely place to stay for a night while we cycled the Shimanami Kaido. However, other than going to the restaurant for your booked slot, there isn't anything to do in the evening, particularly after sunset. The room & food were very nice but quite expensive in comparison to other places we stayed in Japan. It was nice but I wouldn't stay again
