The hotel is very good; the pool area is essential in hot Mérida, and the staff are 100/100. The location isn’t exactly what I’d have liked for my first stay in Mérida, but the area is very safe, just not what I imagined.

Parking is a real bonus. The pool is cute to sit by on a hot afternoon. The location is probably a block on the “wrong side” of the Plaza Grande / Plaza Principal, but it more makes up for that by being just across the road from the most awesome gallery of local taquerias and loncherias, serving incredibly delicious Yucatan dishes for ridiculously affordable prices. Taquería El Amigo Des, Lonchería Punto y Coma, Lonchería La Misión… try them all. The hot water is a bit unreliable at peak times in the morning.
