Everything was perfect, and the staff were flawless.

The colonial house and the entrance plants and staircase are very pretty. The location is great, you could walk to many places, stroll around Polanco, and walk to the Museum of Anthropology. One of the ground‑floor rooms had a lot of plaster dust falling from the ceiling and wall leakage that even peeled paint, so the clothes in open suitcases got white dust. The room also had almost no natural light, just a small window in the corner facing a closed staff area. My parents stayed in another ground‑floor room, also with very little natural light and close to the restaurant entrance. At night, there was a lot of noise from the restaurant and the common area bathroom. After we complained, the hotel quickly moved us to a better first‑floor room with more natural light and a proper window. However, on the first night in that new room, we woke up to another guest opening the door with his own key. The front desk had checked him in and given him the key to my parents’ room, probably because the room change wasn’t updated correctly in the system. Luckily, the guest was very polite, apologized, and explained what happened. The breakfast included with the rate also fell short: basically sweet bread, a few fruit slices, and black coffee or tea. Anything else is charged extra. For the price and supposedly being a five‑star hotel, my family and I expected a much better experience.

“Comfort”

The place was spotless, but the food at the restaurant left a lot to be desired.

Everything was excellent: the staff were friendly and attentive.

“Sobrevalorado”

Location is fine. The reception service and the bathroom (toilet) were poor; the area under the bed was full of dust and trash—cleanliness needs improvement.
