The parking in front of the hotel was full, so I parked at a slightly farther lot, but there were almost no streetlights between the parking and the hotel, making it dark and hard to walk.

It has the classic old tourist hotel layout, but the rooms are spacious, which is a good impression. The bath is small and crowded. The dinner buffet is carb‑heavy and feels like food for animals; there’s no sense of care or taste. I left without eating breakfast.

The all‑you‑can‑drink at the dinner buffet was a highlight. I was a single guest, so I was seated at a two‑person table and could eat quietly. When I was moved to a four‑person table, I left without eating. The bed was good. Most guests were foreigners, probably wealthy. The hallway had a draft sound, and voices from other rooms echoed into my room. The toilet’s water‑running sound reached the room, and the toilet clogs easily. A single paper towel would be better. The unit bathroom smelled like a shower curtain. The morning cleaning was too early, turning it into a big event; from about 9:30 the boiler water hammer was loud.

When I opened the shoji at night, a fox appeared right in front of me—what a thrill—and the meals were also good.
