The host was incredibly friendly, and the stop was ideal between Inverness and Skye. The main hotel is very pretty. However, no bedding was supplied, so bring your own unless you want to buy a sleeping bag for £10, which is pretty decent.

It was a good starting point. Very basic. Bring a sleeping bag or blanket yourself. The kitchen had everything needed, but there was only minimal sleeping gear. From the outside it looked run-down, but inside it was clean.

Warm, clean, and suitable for walkers. The kitchen cutlery was lacking and the dining chairs were very wobbly. The bathroom door lock needs repair.
