“Если вам нужен отель для того что бы просто переночевать, то это отличный вариант”
The hotel is in a mountainous area, which is a big plus because the air over the city, especially in the “old” flat part, is often filled with “smoke,” while in the mountains the air is still fresh and clean. Early check‑in costs an additional fee of about 15 000 tenge. When conflicts arise with staff, especially the “administrator,” ask for the “ADMINISTRATOR” and you can find a solution with that person. It’s impossible to reach the hotel by phone on the listed numbers; the phones are turned off, but staff are on site. The hotel staff try to behave as neutrally as possible and even try to be polite, but it feels forced; you can tell if people love their job or just show up for a shift. Breakfast looks like a commercial, but in reality it’s slightly different – packaged pastries, “Greenfield” tea, homemade porridge that’s edible but not tasty, an English breakfast that’s edible and filling, vegetables from a network store. On the tableware you can find “BREAKFAST REMAINS” from previous guests. We couldn’t check in to our room in the morning, but were moved to another room (202) by 2 p.m. The shower hose in the bathroom is worn and water splashes everywhere. At 1 p.m. we were assigned to our “ECONOMY” room 301, which we learned about only after the fact. In the “Economy” room the shower doors are missing, and in the hallway, which is also the room, there is no place to hang coats or store shoes, let alone a wardrobe, although there are coat hangers. When I asked the “ADMINISTRATOR” about the missing shower doors, the answer was that nothing could be done and that I was in an “ECONOMY” room. After a long and unpleasant discussion for both sides, the “Administrator” talked to the “ADMINISTRATOR” and we managed to express our frustration without resistance, and that “ADMINISTRATOR” listened and took note, reminding us that it was still an “ECONOMY” room.
