The cottage is lovely, the owner is friendly. The breakfast had no cured meats or cheese. Getting to the cottage was tough because the dusty road was clogged with trucks heading to the nearby quarry.

A rural wooden guesthouse that looks gorgeous. We stayed in a room with a private exit. The welcome was perfect, the breakfast was great, and the bread was delicious! The host, François – a name I share – helped with the anti‑lock nuts for my car. We had a very pleasant time. Thanks! The only note: my wife, who’s Breton, missed the semi‑salted butter; it’s not a big deal, just a suggestion for improvement. The scrambled eggs could also be a bit saltier. Just friendly feedback, not criticism.

A spacious ground‑floor room, no suitcase to carry up stairs, which I appreciated. The house feels great. I spent a lot of time looking at the log joinery, finishes, and details. I’d long wanted to see this type of house up close. The green roof acts as insulation – truly a beautiful build. The couple who hosted me were friendly. The breakfast was hearty with a wide selection. The road is audible from far away, but nothing that keeps me from sleeping. I was in the woods yet only 7–8 minutes from the village, which is great! If you arrive at night, just follow the road to the dead‑end at the left in the village for about 5 minutes, maybe 2 km, then turn right at the end onto a wide, chalky dirt path parallel to the departmental road a little lower, about 1 km, there’s a small fork and an old sign that’s no longer very fluorescent on the right – that’s where it is. The bed is a bit firm; you’ll need to get used to it.
