I loved the decorations and the ability to close off a section of the room (bed and main area) with a curtain. It made the simple room feel extravagant and spacious in a very simple way. Loved the decorations as well. Bike rentals were super simple and free, which made exploring the area super easy. When I first entered, it smelled like fresh paint. The smell vanished quickly after opening the windows, so it was an easy fix.

The staff was consistently excellent, friendly, and quick to respond, and the shuttle car service was a big plus. Walking to the beach, ferry, and local restaurants was effortless from the location. Some room features felt a bit worn: the doors were sticky, the room sometimes carried a musty smell, and the tile under the daybed was cracked. We weren’t looking for luxury, just comfort, and the rooms delivered that level of coziness.

Breakfast wasn’t offered, but the valet driver was great, and the hotel’s proximity to the ferry was convenient. The shower floor and walls were extremely slippery, forcing me to lay down a towel; there were no bars in the shower. All of my windows were unlatched and lacked screens, and the door could only be locked from the inside.
