Lisa, the hostess, was extremely welcoming and helpful with advice about things to do in the area; she also assisted with bookings for boat tours. Lisa is an exceptional cook and every meal was delicious. The house is a calm and beautiful spot right beside the river, as its name suggests. Nothing negative!

Lisa was charming and made us feel at home; she arranged everything for us, gave great recommendations, and cooked a fantastic dinner that we couldn’t finish! Everything was great. The only bad thing was that we accidentally took Lisa’s keys; we’ll send them back by mail this week and hope she can forgive us.

It was a good home stay with the old structure still maintained, and the host was good. However, basic facilities need to be kept.

The property sits right next to the river with many nice spots to relax; the interior is lovely, and the big dining table, sofas, and armchairs in the drawing room create a welcoming sense of community. Lisa is a very welcoming and warm host who did everything to make our stay enjoyable and memorable, booked boat trips for us, and spoiled us with her excellent cooking. Thank you, Lisa! Everything was lovely.
