We were greeted warmly by Giovanni and his wife, who gave us plenty of restaurant and sightseeing tips. During breakfast, Giovanni shared a lot about Etna, local fruits, and more—thanks to Google Translate for the conversation 😉. I was worried we might struggle to find street parking, but it was actually easy; I found a spot just around the corner.

The hosts were very friendly, breakfast was great and the rooms were very pretty. For me, the only drawback was the sleeping pillow, but that’s a matter of taste.

A beautifully renovated room right in Giarre – central and still pleasantly quiet even with closed shutters. The air conditioning is perfect for the hot temperatures. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful. Even though we arrived late at night, he greeted us personally and gave us many useful tips that helped us a lot in the first days on Sicily. We also enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace – a wonderful start to the day.
