“Licht und Schatten”

The tasteful decor and idyllic, quiet location are great. The house is well kept and the maid works very thoroughly. The bathtub in the bathroom isn’t suitable for showering; you have to kneel because there is no curtain. We didn’t bathe because it’s total water waste. The other rooms have comfortable showers. There are no hooks to hang used towels. Breakfast is sparse: good coffee and one slice of toasted bread with ham. No eggs, sausage or cheese. Once there was a good tortilla, and after five days finally jam for my wife (vegetarian). Chus and Manuel are nice people, but their three dogs live a bleak life on a chain and in a kennel. That was a burden for us, especially since all the dogs were excited by affectionate attention. Wi‑Fi didn’t work all week and the clogged sink drain was only cleaned on the third day.

Hard to locate, but signs pointing to "la casa de manas" help; just keep an eye out! Breakfast is served at the nearby restaurant, and nothing else stands out.
