“Fantastic hotel and great value for money”

Friendly staff, great beachfront spot, comfy room and bed, but the dining room, especially during breakfast, was very hot.

Our stay at Ranthari Hotel was absolutely beautiful! From the moment we were greeted at reception, we felt warmly welcomed and well informed. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, respectful, helpful, and always courteous. The food was excellent, especially the pizza – the best on the island for us – along with the chicken fingers and burgers that thrilled us. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. I can’t think of anything negative and would recommend the hotel to anyone at any time. Thanks to the whole team for the wonderful hospitality! There was truly nothing we didn’t like. We were completely satisfied and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. We have absolutely nothing to criticize!

“Nice hotel with all you need services”

Right now, it’s probably one of the best hotels on the local island. A bigger hotel will open soon, but for now it’s a normal euro‑style 3/4‑star place. They provide swimming gear, but we brought our own. The restaurant is nice, breakfast was basic—maybe it was low season. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and cleaning was daily. The beach side is great and very close to the hotel. From the local island you can reach at least three luxury resorts on the island for day trips; currently the entrance costs 65 USD per person, but the transfer may cost a lot. The manta trip with shark swimming and a small island was one of the best experiences, priced at just 75 USD per person; highly recommend the agency near the port, Atlantis Tours and Excursions! If the hotel offers activities, it’s better to skip them, as we found much better deals with excellent service elsewhere compared to the hotel excursions.

The staff are great, they’ll help with whatever you need. Very responsive and understanding guys. The hotel is close to the beach, which is very convenient; you can leave your stuff in the room and return whenever you like. The transfer is excellent; they met you and took you without any problems. You can rent fins, masks, and life jackets for free, though some need updating, but still useful. The room was terribly small. There was nowhere to put things, and the hook was limited. The windows faced a construction site, offering no view; because of the construction, the windows couldn’t be opened. There was no balcony, so wet clothes had to be stored in the room, and the bathroom was terrible, lacking ventilation and a window, so you couldn’t enter the shower area because it was very humid and everything was wet. The water pressure was awful, making showering after a day at the beach very difficult. The minibar was not very good, and there wasn’t enough space to cook anything. There was no iron or ironing board. They offered laundry (free), but when they returned the clothes, they weren’t ours; they had to find ours, and they were terribly washed. My husband wanted to stay longer on the island, but due to the listed downsides, he didn’t want to stay there anymore. The breakfasts were weak, nothing to eat. The sun loungers were terribly uncomfortable and broken. If you eat at the restaurant, it’s also not very tasty. Honestly, I don’t understand why the rating is so high.
