Kerry greeted us warmly and escorted us to our room, and the facilities were fantastic with a well-stocked fridge and breakfast. The room was very comfortable, spotless, beautifully decorated, and even had some original touches—definitely a place I’d return to.

The location was perfect for us while competing in The Tom Simpson Sportive, and we wholeheartedly recommend staying here; the hosts were friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

The setting is lovely, though it isn’t a hotel if that’s what you’re after—these are small studio‑style units in converted farm outbuildings, more like a small apartment let. Still, they’re excellently furnished and maintained, and the continental breakfast offers a wide range of high‑quality items in your room to enjoy at any time (yogurts, cereals, granola, bread, butter, jams, biscuits, porridge, proper milk). It suited my business stay well and would be an excellent base for a longer stay in the area.
