Friendship Motor Inn

The staff were kind and friendly, and they granted my request for a ground‑level room. The room itself was clean, simple, and exactly what I wanted. The hotel’s location makes it easy to reach many spots around LA, though the air conditioner can be a bit loud.

“Classico motel un po’ spartano, ma tutto sommato buono”

A classic motel, nothing exceptional but functional; a bit dated, old-fashioned, and the interiors could use a refresh.

Parking was good, but there was noise on the upstairs floor.

“Good for a bare bones, budget stay.”

This budget‑to‑mid‑level motel is adequate for a quick one‑ or two‑night stay, but don’t expect luxury; it’s pretty bare‑bones. The lobby coffee machine is a nice touch, but it’s only available from 6 a‑m to 12 p‑m. For the price, it’s good value if you just need a place to sleep. I stayed two nights in Rm 120, where the room had basic furnishings and still needed work on baseboards and paint. The soap and shampoo were in single bars, and there was no coffee machine or tea service in the room. The window‑unit AC is quite loud and noisy. Towels were standard size and on the thinner side.

“Clean, Cozy and Safe with a Lovely City View 🌆”

We absolutely loved our second‑floor room! It offered a lovely city view, and after the heat faded in the evening it was pleasantly cool, letting us relax and enjoy the scenery. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and everything else was great. In the morning, it took only about half an hour to reach the airport. The motel’s own parking was very convenient, and we felt completely safe there. Thank you!
