The vibe was great and the staff were friendly.

The staff were extremely kind, competent, and the seaside location was wonderful. However, the rooms were furnished in a Monastic IKEA style that was rarely better, and I’m not religious; the rooms felt impersonal. Don’t give me the designer’s name… there were no paintings, no decor, no real coat rack—just a single hook for a jacket. Even the robes, coats, and pants were missing. There was no coat rack in the entrance that could have helped. In the bathroom, the two hooks were taken by the bath towels.

There were no shoe scoops, and the hotel didn’t provide a way to clean sand off shoes when coming from the beach.
