The breakfast was amazing, the decor was cool, and the rooms were comfortable in the cooler part of the year, but the bedrooms got uncomfortably hot without air conditioning—great for winter when we first stayed, but terrible in the hot summer months, and I didn’t get any sleep.

Great atmosphere and brilliant decor, excellent staff from reception to housekeeping, but the rooms were microscopic and there was no kettle, and the price‑to‑comfort ratio was inadequate.

The location is good, but we were first asked to pay for early check‑in and because we didn’t comply we were let into the room without paying; breakfast was subpar (no fruit and very weak filter coffee).
