The owner was a great person and chatting with him was a lot of fun. The place was very clean and you can walk to Kawaguchiko. The facilities were minimal but had what you need, and you can buy missing items on site. For the price, I was very satisfied. It isn’t perfect, but given it’s a hostel, that’s understandable.

The dorm advertised four beds per room, so we booked for three but ended up with five on the second floor; knowing how many people fit would have helped. It was cold and I couldn't sleep; they turned on a heater for a moment and then left.

The hostel was cozy and super clean, especially the showers. We stayed in a traditional room with futons that were very comfortable. The host was amazing, always smiling and friendly, and recommended a great restaurant and the oldest town in Japan, which was worth the trip. There are plenty of activities nearby like the Kachi Kachi cable car, Oishi Park, or just a walk by the lake. I recommend this hostel! Unfortunately, we weren’t in season so Mount Fuji wasn’t visible, but that didn’t affect the hostel.

Wir waren zu dritt unterwegs und hatten ein recht großes Zimmer mit wirklich tollem Blick auf dem Fuji. Gastgeber hat uns ab/zum Bahnhof gefahren, gab tolle Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps. Tolles Erlebnis
