The place sits near the market and Dong Van’s old town, and the owners were kind and efficient, arranging a scooter for us, bus tickets to Ha Giang, and laundry at a local washroom. The room was very large and well equipped, with water available. The downside was that our room faced the street: the view of the mountains was beautiful but a bit noisy early in the morning. The mattress was very hard and the pillows were large and firm.

The spot is near Dong Van Old Town, close to the market, repair shops, and hair salons, and the room is clean and convenient. The owners were very enthusiastic, and when my scooter’s horn broke, they took it for repair at no charge.
